Wireless Possibilities for CF Developers (One Day Seminar)

This seminar will introduce CF developers to the many possibilities and challenges involved in developing applications for wireless devices. With an introduction to the technical and language details of WAP (Wireless Access Protocol) and WML (Wireless Markup Language), we'll show how easy it is to get into using those capabilities to create real applications today. We'll also introduce the tools for getting started and resources for learning more.

More than that, we'll identify some of the challenges in the wireless world as well opportunities to use more advanced features. We'll conclude with an assessment of where the wireless development world is going, including other approaches worth keeping an eye on while you proceed with implementation of solutions that can indeed work today.

You'll leave this seminar knowing how to create a wireless connection to your site with no cost but a little time and effort, and you'll have a clear sense of how practical it is to rely on this new sort of client connection to your site.
